LCMHCA
I have been curious about people and our stories all my life. I believe that sharing those stories with a trusted other can be the mirror we need to see ourselves more fully and to practice being seen, heard, and accepted exactly as we are. What could be more healing?
I received a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2024. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and practice under the supervision of Dr. Gary McFarland, LCMHC-S. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies.
I have worked with adults, groups, adolescents, and children. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, the mental load of parenthood, grief, religious or spiritual trauma, and ADHD. I use an integrative approach informed by person-centered, mindfulness-based, and Gestalt orientations.
Counseling is a safe space for every part of you, including your spiritual or religious self. I am not a spiritual leader; I am present to those conversations as a mental-health professional.
It would be a privilege to journey with you.
